A kindergarten apologized to a child's parents for an assault between a teacher and their child, according to a report on the Yanzhao Evening News.

The child Xiaoyu was diagnosed with ear-trauma, ear-purulence and ear bleeding on May 28. According to a report on Thepaper.cn, a 58-second video that the child's parents recorded from the surveillance of the kindergarten showed that a woman in pink clothes grasped onto one of Xiaoyu’s ear and dragged Xiaoyu into a restroom. The video also showed that the woman kicked another boy in the back.

As there is no surveillance in the restroom, people cannot identify what occurred there. The report on the Yanzhao Evening News citing the words of Xiaoyu said that the woman in the pink clothes slapped him twice around the ear. After they watched the video, Xiaoyu's parents found their son had been beaten several times before.

The report on Thepaper.cn said that according to a screenshot of text messages shared between Xiaoyu's parents and the teacher, the teacher said Xiaoyu was too naughty and she beat him just to educate him. However, the content has not been confirmed by the teacher.

The incident is under investigation, and the teacher is cooperating with the police for the investigation of the incident.
