
The excavation of "Huaguangjiao No. 1" shipwreck is the first time that Chinese archaeologists have carried out excavation in the open sea. Nearly 10,000 pieces of precious cultural relics were retrieved during the excavation. "Huaguangjiao No. 1", a 800-year-old shipwreck, was first discovered by fishermen in 1996.
