A white horse stranded in a swampland was rescued by men in Bomi county, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, on March 31, 2016.

A tourist found it, half submerged in mud, looking emaciated. When words spread that a horse was stuck in swamp, locals, tourists, and reporters jointly made efforts to rescue the horse. They used wood and sticks to build a bridge on the swampy ground and applied ropes to harness the horse. Eventually, the white horse was pulled out of the mud.

People then picked up some wood to build fire to warm the poor horse, and fed it with food and water. The owner of the horse heard the news and hurried to the spot. He hugged and caressed the horse the minute he saw the exhausted white animal, and thanked everyone for their kind efforts.
