Adorable: Photo Series Recreate World Famous Paintings with Newborn Babies

(People's Daily Online)    00:19, April 01, 2016

It could be said that every newborn baby is a work of art, but that's especially true of the newborn photography by a mother-of-three, Lindsay Walden in Texas, the United States.

These stunning images feature adorable tiny babies on backdrops inspired by some of art history's most instantly recognizable paintings, and the results are nothing short of museum-worthy!

Walden said that she got the idea for the series while walking through a Gustave Caillebotte exhibit at the Kimbell Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.

“I designed the backdrops by hand dyeing raw wool as well as deconstructing colored yarn. My whole family participated in helping me create each design,” Walden said.

Walden has created some portraits based on Claude Monet's Water Lilies and Edvard Munch's classic The Scream--which else of these paintings can you recognize?
