At the 2015 National Science and Technology Awards Conference, Xi'an Kangbo New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (or Xi'an Kangbo for short) won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award on account of its "key technology and application project of high-performance multiple-scale grains synergistic reinforced aluminum and magnesium matrix composites", which was highly commended by the conference.

As one of its principal participants, Xi'an Kangbo cooperated with Xi'an Technological University, and some other organizations to complete the "key technology and application project of high-performance multiple-scale grains synergistic reinforced aluminum and magnesium matrix composites".

Xi'an Kangbo is based in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone.
