On his first night after arriving in Beijing, 76-year-old German President Joachim Gauck visited "Guijie", a popular street known for delicious local foods in Beijing. Gauck tried the Beijing Roast Duck in a restaurant located in a hutong courtyard and spoke highly of the dish afterwards.
