A drunken man who drove a Mazda sedan with two tires missing knocked over a sanitation truck in Yichang, central China's Hubei province Sunday. No one was hurt in the accident.
At 6 a.m., Yichang police center received a call saying a red Mazda sedan with tires on the right side missing was running on the road. The center immediately ordered the nearby police officers to find the car's location and intercept it. At 6:05 a.m., a police officer found a red damaged Mazda sedan stopped at the roadside after knocking down a sanitation truck.
In addition to the damages on the body, the car lost the tires on right side, leaving only the bare hubs. The edges of the hubs were worn down and some parts were even deformed.
After investigation, the driver named Yang, 24, admitted that he was drunken while driving the car. When he was asked about the disappearing tires, he didn't even know how it happened. Judging from the marks on the road left by the hubs, the police speculated that the tire should have disappeared quite a long time before the car accident.
