If Presidential hopeful Donald Trump fails to win a seat in the White House, there's a throne waiting in China with his name on it.
A bathroom fixture company in Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong Province, has made headlines recently for selling high-end toilets branded as “Trump”.
Shenzhen Trump Industries, founded in 2002 and has no affiliation with the US presidential candidate, produces smart toilet seats and other bathroom fixtures for venues such as “high-end spas, hotels, … and public institutions," according to the company website.
Toilet accessories are not the only Trump-branded items in China. Trump Electronics, based in Anhui Province, has been making air purifiers since 1996.
But in terms of building a brand name, Donald trumps them all.
Among the 515 enterprises listed in his financial disclosure forms, a measure required of all candidates by the US Federal Election Commission, 268 of them use “Trump” in reference to himself, Quartz reports.
