On February 17, 2016, crowds of people poured into the Job Market of Xi'an Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (or XHTZ for short), where a recruitment session, the first in a series of sessions to be staged by XHTZ throughout the year of 2016, took place. On that day, over 100 businesses, including ZTE Corporation's Smart Terminals Division, Micron Technology Inc., Mobi Technology, United States System Sensor Inc., Emerson Electric Company, Powertech Technology Inc., BYD Company Limited, and Giant Biogene, offered about 1,500 jobs to over 2,000 job hunters.

On February 20, 2016, the job market filled again with job hunters, which convincingly proved that XHTZ's demand for talents has been steadily increasing due to its effort to accelerate its development into a strategically-important high-tech zone for emerging industries.
