A group of men donned dresses and high heels to climb a mountain in south China’s Guangdong on March 8, 2016 – International Women’s Day.

The shift of role with their wives was to offer an opportunity for the men to experience the hardship of being a woman nowadays. In addition to the toil of climbing the stairs in high heels, they were often surrounded by curious passing hikers, and had to crack a smile for the cameras of onlookers.
