The Emperor Hotel, located in Sanhe in northern Hebei province, has attracted a great deal of attention due to its sculpture-like appearance. The building is in the shape of Fu, Lu and Shou, three traditional Chinese gods representing happiness, career and health respectively.
The 41.6-meter hotel is a 10-story building near Beijing's Tianzi Lake. The entrance is at the right foot of the God Shou. All the rooms are built within the “bodies” of the three gods.
There is a presidential suite on the ninth floor, while standard rooms are distributed on and below the eighth floor.
Besides various suites, the hotel also features more than 40 villas and a wide selection of entertainment facilities such as golf courts, restaurants and karaoke.
Facilities for business services, including conferences and leisure, are also provided by the hotel.
As the world's largest construction in the form of a sculpture when it was built, the Emperor Hotel set a Guinness World Record as “biggest image building” in 2001.
