Thousands of Fish Released into Daming Lake in E China (2)

Many middle-aged women would buy as much as thousands yuan worth of fish at one time in Jinan, and around 20,000 fish are released into the Daming Lake every month. Some people even make it a business beside the Lake, listing 9 yuan (about 1.4 USD) per kilogram for the carp.

It is also seen that some tourists waiting with fish net and rod by the lake to go fishing after the fish are bought and released.
