Max, a Russian man who is traveling in China became trapped in Yucheng city, east China's Shandong province, due to the language barrier. Fortunately he successfully returned to Beijing with the help of local policemen.
At 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2016, the public security bureau of Yucheng received a report that a foreign man was trapped in the Yucheng service area of the Beijing Taipei Expressway and needed help. Du Xingbao, a policeman who was on duty quickly went to the site.

Nobody could understand what the foreign man was saying. Through limited communications, Du found that this man could not speak Chinese and could only speak a little English. Through checking the passport and visa, Du knew that the man named Max is from Russia.
Du Xingbao downloaded a Russian-Chinese Translation App and communicated with him through that. The man in his 20s entered China from Khorgos Port. Not having much money, Max thumbed a ride to Mount Tai. "Beijing, Beijing," he expressed his destination with poor English.
Du contacted the bus company in Jinan city and a driver promised to take Max to Beijing for free. "Chinese good! Chinese policeman good," Max was so happy and thanked the policemen with limited English.
