On January 20, an enlarged meeting of the CPC Working Committee was held in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone (or the Zone for short). The meeting required all Zone cadres to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 8th plenary meeting of the 12th session of Xi’an Municipal Party Committee, so as to start the various work of the 13th Five-Year Plan in a smooth way. Zhao Hongzhuan, Member of the Standing Committee of Xi’an Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, attended and addressed the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that the plan for constructing national independent innovation demonstration zones in the Zone should be prepared to a high standard; that the work of the Zone's 13th Five-Year Plan should be fully started; and that the implementation of four plans, namely the special talents transfer plan, equipment manufacturing industry 2025 climb plan, export doubling plan, and software service industry catching up plan, should be comprehensively promoted, so as to ensure a sound start for the 13th Five-Year Plan and get ready for the construction of national independent innovation demonstration zones.
