A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Linkou County, Mudanjiang City of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province at 12:22 a.m. on Saturday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 44.81 degrees north latitude and 129.95 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 580 km, according to the CENC.
No casualties have been reported after a 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit northeast China at midday Saturday.
The quake struck Linkou in Heilongjiang Province at 12:22 a.m. at a depth of 580 km, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The quake was not felt by county residents and no casualties have been reported.
Three trains were ordered to stop in safe areas after the quake, said the Harbin Railway Bureau.
