Man reportedly missing in Shenzhen landslide found in Internet cafe

People from different walks of life has been giving special care to those affected since a landslide occurred in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province on Dec. 20, 2015.

A 17-year-old man surnamed Chen who was listed among those missing after the landslide in Shenzhen has been found safe in an Internet cafe. He was in the cafe when the landslide happened, thus escaped the tragedy. The man have been so addited in online games the following days that he totally had no idea of what had happened and of people searching for him desperately.   

According to sznews.com, Chen came to Shenzhen with his sister after graduation and has been working in the city. His sister tried to contact him after the landslide, but his phone was powered off. Since he stayed unreachable, his sister was left with no other choice but to report his missing.

Volunteers helped his sister collect information about Chen. Finally they discovered that he was fanatic about online video games. They reported what they had got to the public security departments and other relevant departments which helped locate his IP address through the online video games. At the same time, the policemen from the local police stations were also sent to search for him.

One day later, his sister, accompanied by the two volunteers, found the man in an Internet cafe on Dec. 25, 2015.
