China on Monday strongly opposes and dissatisfies over the landing of Filipino demonstrators on China's Zhongye Dao Island in the South China Sea during the weekend.

"China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands, including the Zhongye Dao Island," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang in response to a question on the Filipino demonstrators.

"We once again urge the Philippine side to withdraw all its personnel and facilities from the Chinese islands and reefs it is illegally occupying and stop doing anything that undermines regional peace and stability and weighs against the relations between China and the Philippines," Lu added.
