Huang Meihua, a girl who lost legs in China's Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, 2008, was admitted to Canadian Royal Flight College recently. Her experience encouraged many people.

"After the earthquake hit Wenchuan, I was rescued from the ruins. I still remember that I was sent to the hospital by a helicopter and then brought back to life. I am so excited to get the opportunity to study flight in Canada. I am grateful to the people's support and help. I have decided to be a volunteer of air rescue teams after I get the pilot license," Huang said to Christopher, an instructor of Canadian Royal Flight College.

Huang Meihua would attend a three-week flight course in Vancouver in February 2016. "Feet are not necessary for flying an airplane. I am confident that I can do well because the college chose me," said Huang.
