This sequel to Stephen Chow's box-office smash 'Journey to the West' (2013) is especially exciting since it has been confirmed that master filmmaker Tsui Hark will direct. It is well known that Tsui has wanted to make a film based on 'Journey to the West' for decades, and riding high on the success of his last film 'The Taking of Tiger Mountain' (2014), and the many classic fantasy/adventure films he has made in the past, we cannot wait to see how he interprets this classic tale, and hope that the collaboration between Hark and Chow will cause creative sparks to fly.
