Kaspersky Lab CEO: Internet threats have evolved from primitive to well-organized 'cyber terrorism'

With the development of cyber technologies, more security issues will inevitably emerge, said Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of Kaspersky Lab, in an interview with People's Daily Online on Dec. 17 at the 2nd World Internet Conference.

Many important players in the Internet technology industry from home and abroad have attended this event in Wuzhen, a river town in east China’s Zhejiang Province. Eugene Kaspersky, the founder and CEO of Kaspersky Lab, is one of these leaders. Kaspersky detailed his views on cyber security during the interview.

In the future, more critical areas could be affected by well-organized "cyber terrorism." Kaspersky suggested that everyone must keep Internet security issue in mind, and use reliable security systems for computers and smart phones.
