What would a bunch of Internet tycoons talk about when they get together for a dinner party? Tech talks? More than that.
A post by Yang Yuanqing, CEO of the Lenovo Group on Weibo revealed something interesting about some of the most renowned entrepreneurs in Internet industry.
Yang shared the photos on his micro-blog on Dec. 16 showing bigwigs of Internet technology companies have dinner together to celebrate the birthday of Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi Corp on the first day of the 2015 World Internet Conference in the river town of Wuzhen, in east China's Zhejiang Province. The party brought together tycoons like Robin Li of Baidu inc and Yang Zhiyuan, founder of Yahoo.
According to Yang, the guests tasted crabs and pork with Shaoxing wine. The pork came from a hog raised by Ding Lei, the CEO of 163.com. Pony Ma (Ma Huateng), co-founder, executive director, chairman and CEO of Tencent, can handle a lot of liquor and apparently likes to urge people to drink. Zhang Lei, CEO of Hillhouse Capital, and Charles Zhang (Zhang Chaoyang), CEO of sohu.com, shared knowledge of their regimens. Cao Guowei, CEO of Sina, China's largest Internet portal and micro-blog, discussed the old days of losing Yahoo. (Screenshot/Weibo)
