Northeast China’s Jilin city sees the most beautiful rime in this winter on December 8, 2015. The frost or rime, also known as "Wusong" in Chinese, usually appears during winter in areas surrounding the Songhua River in northeast China. This unusual phenomenon is the result of interaction between the cold air and warm vapor from the nearby river.
