This incredible footage was taken at the top of the Eiffel Tower by daredevil James Kingston - before he was handcuffed and arrested by French Police.
The clip shows the British freerunner walking along the frames of the magnificent structure at dizzying heights after he had scaled it from the bottom.
After reaching the top platform, around 900ft above the ground, the 24-year-old's curiosity got the better of him, and after opening a door to the inside, he was spotted by security officials.
He still managed to find somewhere to hide, however, along with some friends, they gave themselves up to security some eight hours after beginning the challenge.
They were marched down to the base, where he was arrested by the police in the stunt that took place in November 2014.
The video has since been shared on YouTube, where it has almost 100,000 views.
Accompanying the video, Kingston, who is from from Romsey, Hampshire, wrote: 'The Eiffel Tower has been one of my goals for quite a while.
'Plan A for the Tower was to buy tickets to the second platform & climb out of one of the stairways. This immediately failed as it was just too busy.
'We didn't really have a plan B so we decided to commit to climbing right up the side from the ground and see what happens.'
The group decided on their daring adventure at around 1am one morning, and managed to evade being caught until for eight hours.
Kingston says he was held at the police station for questioning for six hours, before he was released without charge.
He did, however, have to agree to never climb the Eiffel Tower again.
The clip has been shared on YouTube, where it has amassed almost 500,000 views.
