Activities for foreign secondary school students attending the 8th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition to experience Chinese culture were held in Yunnan Normal University on Oct. 24, 2015. The foreign students learnt to practice Chinese brush writing and experienced mask painting and tea culture.

Themed with “Learn Chinese, More Friends”, the 8th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for foreign secondary school students kicked off in Yunnan on Oct. 19 and will last until Nov. 1.

400 teachers and students from 81 countries came to China to attend the competition with the largest number of participants in history. Students from Malawi, Tanzania, Estonia attend the competition for the first time.
