President Xi Jinping meets with Iran President Hassan Rouhani Monday in New York.

President Xi emphasizes that China highly values the ties with Iran, and that he would like to see further cooperation with Iran in infrastructure construction and communication projects.

China is willing to expand the cooperation with Iran in railway and road construction, iron and steel, auto-manufacturing, electricity, engineering, Hi-Tech, and environmental protection, says President Xi Jinping.

Iran President Hassan Rouhani also vows to expand cooperation with China. He reassured the implementation of the nuclear deal sealed earlier in multilateral talks
