Suffering from polio, Xiong Jun, 28, has to rely on his left leg, bouncing to move forward. But he fell in love with running marathon. Last year, he participated in five national marathon competitions. Since then, he has participated in another 20 games.

Xiong now becomes a volunteer. He said, "I gave lectures at school and share my running experience. I also give psychological counseling and career advice to people with disabilities. "

On June 27, 2015, Xiong and Zhang Yawen, world champion of badminton singles took part in a charity running event sponsored by the Chongqing Women's Federation, Chongqing Women and Children Foundation. The event aimed at raising fund for poor female students.

Xiong also participated in 2015 Chongqing International Marathon to encourage a seven-year-old boy Liu Jie who was suffering from thalassemia. "Our action is the most powerful support to the needed," he said.

Motivated by Xiong, more and more people have joined in the fitness exercises with him. Xiong met with a young lady once in a school where he delivered a speech. Admiring his strong will and spirit of optimism, the young lady later becomes his girlfriend.

Next year he will organize 30 disabled people to embark on a hiking tour in Tibet.
