Nepalese VP calls for more exchanges between youths of Nepal, China

KATHMANDU, Sept. 12 -- Nepalese Vice President Parmananda Jha has called for more interaction and exchange programs between Nepalese and Chinese youths to share knowledge, experience and skills.

The vice president made such appeal while speaking at a one-day talk program on Nepal-China Youth Cooperation organized here Saturday.

The Nepalese youths should learn skills and knowledge from Chinese youths to assist the process of nation building, said Jha, who is embarking on a China trip later this month.

Speaking on the same occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai said that Nepalese youths are intelligent with huge potentials.

Nearly 2,000 Nepalese youths leave the country every day to the Middle East and the Gulf countries in seek of employment.

Young leaders and speakers of the program highlighted on the need of creating opportunities within the country to mobilize youths for development efforts.
