Recently, U.S. President Barack Obama made an appearance on an episode of "Running Wild with Bear Grylls". A newly released preview of the program shows Obama enjoying a piece of leftover salmon in the wild.
The fish, which had been half eaten by a bear, was found on a river bank in Alaska by the host of the show Bear Grylls.
Grylls picked up the leftover fish, sliced a large piece and grilled it on a fire for a few seconds before handing it to the president.
Obama then put the piece in his mouth and chewed on it.
"It would have been nice if we had a cracker to go with it," Obama joked to the camera.
Obama participated in the show during a recent 3-day visit to Alaska and noted that the trip was one of the best days of his presidency.
Obama's appearance on the show is part of an effort by the White House to raise awareness on envrionmental protection.
The purpose of Obama's visit in Alaska was to stress the effects of global warming on the environment.
