Taiwan-based smartphone maker HTC is reportedly to be removed from a major index on Taiwan's stock exchange.
It's being reported that as of September 21st, HTC will no longer be on Taiwan's FTSE 50 Index.
However, HTC will reportedly still be traded on the Mid-Cap 100 Index.
News of this comes just days after HTC reported its lowest monthly revenues in 8-years through August.
HTC has already announced its cutting some 600 factory jobs.
