According to the written confession of Isamu Shirasu, he was born in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan in 1919. He joined the Japanese War of Aggression against China in 1940 and was captured in August 1945.

In June 1940: In Jingmen County, Hubei Province, the squadron sentry “arrested one peaceful Chinese male aged 35 or 36”, whom Isamu Shirasu “stabbed to death with bayonet”.

In May 1941: In Jingmen County, “dragged a Chinese woman of 21 or 22 years old hidden in a haystack to a Chinese dwelling,” together with a companion gang-raped her.

On 25 December 1943: In Yuanan County, Hubei Province, participated in the “Baiyangsi massacre”. “Battalion Commander senior Captain Takao Yamanaka ordered: ‘In Baiyangsi Village, the residents, including women and children, are to be killed, the houses burned, and the materials confiscated.’ Accordingly, the battalion mainly massacred 100 peaceful Chinese, the elderly, women, children in the village, and burned more than 70 houses of the Chinese people. ”

In March 1944: In Dangyang County, Hubei Province, “I broke into a Chinese residence alone, pressing down a Chinese woman of 21 or 22 years old on the bed, and raped her”.

In April 1944: In Dangyang County, “I broke into a Chinese residence at the western end of Wangjia Alley, and raped a Chinese woman of 35 or 36 years old with the threat of bayonet”.

In May 1944: In Dangyang County, captured a Chinese peaceful man, “two others and I tied his hands and feet, and plunged him upside down in the pool for 2 minutes, filling him with a lot of water ... conducted three times torture during interrogation in this way” and he died as a result.

In April 1945: In the Xiangyang County, Hubei Province, “I raped a 12-year-old girl with the threat of bayonet, and resulted in the rupture of her vulva”.

During the invasion, in the comfort stations, “raped 13 Chinese women 32 times, and seven Korean women 38 times”.
