A newly married firefighter is among the 17 firefighters killed in the massive explosions that rocked Tianjin Wednesday night, according to Sina.com.
Yin Yanrong, 25, is from northeast China’s Heilongjiang province. He had only been married for 12 days before he was killed in the blasts, which have claimed at least 50 lives so far.
Like 16 other firefighters whose lives were cut tragically short, Yin was praised as a martyr in the Chinese media. Furthermore, the media has been blaming the local government for its poor management of the firefighting efforts.
To make the story even more depressing, Yin's wife was pregnant with their first child, sina report revealed.
