A three-year old black bear was brutally killed by 10 tigers on Monday at the Shanghai Wild Animal Reserve Park, according to Tencent News.
The little black bear was believed to have wandered into a tiger ambush. Before the zoo staff realized, the tigers swarmed in and bit the little bear to death within two minutes. Subsequently, they ate the bear.
This incident has caused grave public concern over the animal protection in the park.
The park has reportedly said it will install surveillance cameras in the area to monitor the animals, in order to prevent such incidents from happening again.
