The 2nd Silk Road International Food Exhibition and Trade Fair kicked off in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on July 22, 2015. Many delicious foods appeared at the fair.

3.04-meter diameter pizza

After two hours' preparation and bakery, six cooks carried out a large pizza at the fair the next day. The pizza, 3.04 meters in diameter, was made by 12 chefs with 30 kilograms of flour, 10 kilograms of pepper, 25 kilograms of cheese, 12 kilograms of beef ham, as well as 10 kilograms of mushroom.

8.2-meter-long mutton shashlik

An 8.2-meter-long mutton shashlik amazed citizens at the fair. It was made by 6 chefs with over 150 kilograms of mutton diced into 8o pieces.

10,000 fried fish piled in a boat

10,000 fried fish were piled into a 1-meter-high and 3-meter-long “yellow hill” and put in a boat. The boat is 3.8 meters long, 1.3 meters wide and 4.2 meters high. The fish hill, made of 800 kilograms of fish, took 4 chefs 4 days to make.

200 chefs' grilling contest

200 chefs from 15 countries staged a contest of grill skills at the fair.
