Liu Chengyan, chairman and president of ChinaNet Center, a content delivery network and data center provider, topped the latest annual list of China's best CEOs, Forbes China, the licensed Chinese-language edition of Forbes, announced.

Ao Xiaoqiang, chairman and general manger of Beijing SDL Technology Co Ltd, and Liu Xianghua, chairman and general manger of Hunan CHINASUN Pharmaceutical Machinery Co Ltd, ranked second and third, respectively.

A total of 14 CEOs, mainly from the Internet, bio-tech and entertainment industries, have been on the list for two consecutive years.

Eight female CEOs entered the list this year, two more than last year.
