Conflict broke out on the Syrian-Turkish border yesterday, shortly after a suicide bomber with suspected ties to ISIS claimed 30 lives. Consequently, Turkey is now officially involved in the war against ISIS, providing a key advantage for the USA. The US can now use a valuable air base to engage with ISIS from Turkey, right next door to Syria.
