HARBIN, June 27-- In the Songbei district of Harbin, a succession of 36 brand new dreg trucks drove down the street. The group of environmentally-friendly trucks were adorned in large red characters, wreaths, ribbons, flowers and balloons. The fleet of dreg trucks served as a marriage vessel for picking up one groom's bride to be. The grandiose gesture garnered the gaze of many of the city's citizens.

According to the groom, who works in the transportation of earth minerals, all 36 of the trucks are new. He went onto explain that the 27th was also the first day his company opened. The trucks were used to pick up the bride to provide an omen of dual blessings-one for the new company, and one for the new couple.
Speaking about his unique approach to the ceremonial gesture, the groom said, “Starting from when I fell in love with my wife, I’ve constantly thought of how I could provide her with an unforgettable wedding ceremony. After thinking long and hard, I decided to use my trucks as the ceremonial vehicles. It was all prepared very quietly so my wife would be pleasantly surprised.”
In response to her husband and his motivation, the bride said, “I really don’t care about whether my marriage had a luxury car, but I can feel the diligence he put into the surprise so I completely support him. I also especially like the unique feeling from such a surprise. It really is an unforgettable wedding that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.”
