BEIJING, June 19 -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang will visit Cuba and Brazil from June 25 to 27, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said on Friday.
Wang's visit to Cuba and Brazil comes at the invitation of Cuba's Vice President of the Council of Ministers Ricardo Cabrisas and Brazil's Vice President Michel Temer, Hong said.
During his visit to Cuba, Wang will hold talks with Cabrisas, meet with other Cuban leaders, and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
His visit will inject new vitality to China-Cuba relations, as the two countries celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties this year, Hong said.
Wang will co-chair the forth session of the China-Brazil High-level Coordination and Cooperation Committee with Temer on Friday and Saturday.
