According to Pu'er Daily, Pu'er held a press conference at Beijing Exhibition Centre to promote real estates, in which a total of 53 news media organizations were invited, including Beijing Television Station, house.qq.com, and www.china.com.cn on the morning of April 17, 2015, when the 2015 Beijing International Property & Investment Expo/Spring was still under way.

"Pu'er is a bright green pearl on the colorful map of Yunnan," said Zhang Ruolei, Deputy Mayor of Pu'er "In fact, Pu'er compares favorably with any other city in Yunnan when it comes to having higher climatic comfort indexes, a higher level of air cleanness, a higher level of biodiversity, a more diverse mix of national cultures, more available resources, or a more favorable geographical location, which makes the city one of the most livable places in the world. Hu Jianrong, director of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Pu'er, introduced the huge investment value of real estate in Pu'er to the media by describing the city's favorable geographical location, strategic orientation, and the real estate market. "As China begins to implement its strategies for urbanization and building the 'one belt and one road', the real estate industry of Pu'er is showing great potential for growth, thanks to its natural advantages with rich resources and geographical advantage in the forefront of opening up to Southeast Asia and South Asia," Hu said.
