A policewoman at Guangzhou Railway Station

Wang Xiong, 43, is a policewoman who has been engaged in criminal investigation for 20 years. She has won the honor as National Excellent People’s Police. Wang Xiong and her colleague are responsible for hunting fugitives, fighting thieves, conducting drug smuggling investigation and protecting the life and possessions of the passengers in Guangzhou Railway station. She has cracked 736 criminal cases, arrested 973 criminals and captured 15.8 kilograms of drugs. She retrieved 1.92 million yuan losses for passengers so she is praised as the “guardian”. She comes to the railway station every day.

Wang Xiong is a brave woman who never shows fears before criminal suspects. She began to learn judo when she was just 10 years old. She has won awards in many judo competitions.

Wang Xiong was awarded Merit Citation Class II once, and Merit Citation Class III three times. She has won a number of honorary titles too. Sometimes, Wan Xiong and her colleague pretend to be a couple to hide their identities.
