(Pu'er Daily) -- From November 25 to 26, a delegation from Putuo District, Shanghai, visited Pu'er. The two sides held a signing ceremony to mark the establishment of a friendly relationship between the two administrative divisions, signifying that the exchanges and cooperation between the two have reached a new level.

Wei Xing, Secretary of the CPC Pu'er Municipal Committee, welcomed the delegation, thanking Putuo for its long-term support for Pu'er's development. He stressed that the establishment of the friendly relationship marks the beginning of a new phase in the friendly cooperation between the two sides, and has created a new opportunity for the two sides to bring their respective advantages into full play, further develop new cooperation fields, improve the level of cooperation and achieve a win-win situation, and bring new concepts, ideas, and methods to and inject strong power and vitality into Pu'er's accelerated development.

He expressed the hope that Putuo would give play to its advantages in fields such as capital, talent, technology, and management, increase its support for Pu'er in green industry development, investment promotion, cultural exchange, and talent cultivation, promote the development of Pu'er's regional economy, and achieve greater substantial results in poverty relief and development.
