KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Oct. 27 -- A group of suicide bombers stormed the office of prosecuting attorney in Kunduz provincial capital, the northern Kunduz city, 250 km north of Kabul on Monday, casualties feared, provincial police spokesman Sayed Sarwar Hussaini said.
"A group of suicide bombers stormed the office of prosecutor in Kunduz city at 01:20 p.m. local time today with suicide attacks and gun shots," Hussaini told reporters.
So far a big blast, possibly a car bomb shocked the area and exchange of fire continues, the official said, adding that casualties are feared.
The number of attackers is unknown, Hussaini added, saying security forces are trying to kill or capture the attackers.
