The public security bureau in Ziyang, southwest China's Sichuan province is organizing an open recruitment for 30 male police officers from Sept. 9 to 16, 2014. Recruiting posters like those of Hollywood blockbusters have attracted much attention.
Armored vehicles, berets, assault rifles, bulletproof vests ... All the elements in a set of eye-catching and movie-like posters have evoked a lot of people's dream of becoming a police officer. Li Yong, 23, is one of them. He called and signed up as soon as he saw the posters.
"We want to show our work to the people, especially young people. We hope more young people will join us to protect our homes. So we shot this set of posters," one of the directors at the public security bureau said.
Surprisingly, after these posters were unveiled, more females have called to sign up. But as the recruitment is only open to male applicants, the police had to turn down these passionate women.
