KIEV, Sept. 3 -- Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin reached agreement for a permanent ceasefire in eastern Ukraine's Donbass region, Poroshenko's press office said in a statement on Wednesday.

But so far, Russia has made no comment over the statement.
