Numerous overseas netizens have expressed their deepest condolences to those who were killed in the deadly Yunnan earthquake on various news websites and social media such as Facebook and Twitter. The death toll has amounted to at least 410 people.

Adeel Aamir commented “it is very sad moment & I am with U my Chinese Brothers. God will bless them.” Another netizen Hamid Jalil said, “So sad Pakistanis are with you at this sad moment and will always stand up with China.”

Meanwhile, they’re concerned about aftermath of the earthquake. BiteRight wrote, “Yesterday they reported about 187 dead, and today the figure is more than double. This means China is recovering more bodies under the mudslide. I’m afraid the death toll will still mount in coming days.” Thomas Templar prayed that the aftershocks would stop.

In addition, the Chinese government’s timely rescue and Premier Li Keqiang’s care to the victims have been praised by overseas netizens on social media.
