Located at the junction of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Sichuan, Qingmuchuan Town of Ningqiang County is said to stand on three provinces. Qingmuchuan was the former cohabitation region for both the Qiang Nationality and the Han Nationality. Founded in the Chenghua Period of the Ming Dynasty, and successively constructed during the Qing Dynasty and in the days of the Republic of China, Qingmuchuan has gradually developed into the current scale.
Qingmuchuan was once one of the key ways to Sichuan. Countless years have passed, and there still remain numerous historical sites with different styles from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in good keep such as the Old Street of Qingmuchuan Town, Wei’s House, Furen Drama Club, Temple of Guanyu, and Furen Middle School.
