China Red Cross Sends Condolence Massage to US

The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) sent a condolence massage to Bernadine P.Healy, president of American Red Cross Wednesday, expressing sincere concern and solicitude, as well as best wishes.

Wang Lizhong, executive vice-president of RCSC said in the message that "I am shocked to learn of the catastrophic events that occurred in New York City and Washington Tuesday morning of September 11, which caused serious damages and great casualties to the American people in both cities."

"At this sad and difficult time, our hearts are with you and the affected American people," he said.

"On behalf of the Red Cross Society of China and its president Mrs. Peng Peiyun, I would like to extend to you, and also through you to all the victims and deceased families our sincere concern and solicitude, as well as our best wishes," said Wang.

"I want also to assure you of our full support to your humanitarian emergency relief on behalf of the victims of the tragic events," according to Wang.
