Chinese President Arrives in Russia's Volgograd for Visit
Chinese President Jiang Zemin arrived in Volgograd on Tuesday to continue his four-day state visit.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov accompanied Jiang from Moscow for the tour of Volgograd, a major industrial and commercial center in Russia.
Jiang and his wife were greeted by local officials upon their arrival at the airport.
Russia is the first leg of Jiang's five-nation European tour, which will also take him to Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Malta.
