Chief of General Staff Meets Mongolian Guests

Fu Quanyou, chief of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army, met Tuesday with visiting Mongolian Defense Minister Jugderdemidiin Gurragchaa and his party.

Fu, also a member of the Central Military Commission, said that Mongolia is an important neighbor of China, and the borders between the two countries have maintained peaceful with the joint efforts of the two sides.

While the two countries have worked to keep the friendship going, the friendly relations between the two armed forces have entered a new stage in recent years, Fu said.

Gurragchaa said that developing the good-neighborly relations between Mongolia and China is the common aspiration of the two peoples, and the established foreign policy of Mongolia as well. The Mongolian government and armed force are ready to further promote the relations.
