An unknown number of gunmen fired shots at the Macedonian President's office on Wednesday evening, but no one was injured, according to reports from the Macedonian capital Skopje.

Macedonian police were quoted as saying that unidentified gunmen were shooting from a car moving towards the parliament building which houses President Boris Trajkovski's office.

The bullets hit the office's windows, but did not break the bullet-proof glass, the reports said.
