Airbus A319 Succeed in Flying Over Tibet
The Europe's Airbus company's A319 plane made successful flight over the Tibet plateau after its two test flies at Bamda Airport, 4334 meters in altitude and at Gonggar Airport, 3570 meters in altitude respectively on Friday and Saturday.

Saturday's test fly was conducted by the pilot-in-chief of the Airbus company.

The A319 plane is one type of the company's A320 series, with a capacity of 124 passengers and a non-stop flight of 6,500 km.

The test flies were conducted at the request of China's Southwest Airlines, which will open new air routes within Tibet by using A319 planes, sources said.
